On the morning of December 30, 2023, Vientiane Sai Serta Comprehensive Development Zone (VSCDZ) held a New Year's Day hiking activity of 2024 with the theme of "Excitement and Courage to Move Forward". Mr. Xiong Jun, General Manager of Lao-China Joint Investment Company Limited, all the staff of the company and some enterprises in the park participated in the event with nearly 60 people.

The hiking activity officially started at 7:00 a.m. Laos time. The Chinese and Lao cadres and workers started from the gate of Sai Serta Comprehensive Development Zone, greeted the sunrise, and hiked along the main road around the development zone, covering a total distance of about 9 kilometers, and along the way, there were three supply stations, which provided snacks, beverages, and mineral water for all of us.

The joy of welcoming the New Year overflowed on everyone's face, everyone was talking and laughing, enjoying the fun of hiking, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the development zone at the same time, are warmly discussing the development of the development zone over the past year, more and more enterprises stationed in the development zone, a building of factories up and down, the crowd of people commuting to and from work is bustling, everywhere is a vibrant scene.

The hiking activity further strengthened the communication between the cadres and workers of Lao subsidiaries, as well as between the development zone and the resident enterprises, and also promoted the friendship between Chinese and Lao employees, which played a good role of cohesion and motivation, and inspired the majority of offshore cadres and workers to continue to rise to the challenge, excel, and move forward with perseverance, and to create better work results in the year of 2024.
